Nestled along New York's Billionaires Row, The Park Hyatt is a hideaway oasis in midtown Manhattan. Recent guests raved about the large, well-decorated guest rooms, the friendly staff and the hotel's prime location on West 57th Street, just south of Central Park and across the street from Carnegie Hall. However, some visitors note that because the hotel occupies the first 25 floors of the 90-story building, some of the rooms' views are less than stellar. The property exemplifies the elegance and sophistication of a modern hotel and feels fresh and bright. With the main restaurant called "The Living Room," guests feel right at home, and the warm atmosphere will make first-time visitors relax when they enter. The hotel prides itself on accommodating families, groups of travelers and multi-generational families staying together. Consequently, the property offers many features designed for families, including several connecting rooms and spacious suites. Traveling through the hotel itself, take note of the artwork, which is frequently rotated. For New Yorkers, this property makes for an excellent staycation, whether they enjoy the cocktail hour with live jazz on Thursday or get a workout in at the incredible wellness facilities. The gym provides stunning views of Central Park, and the spacious wellness area rivals a luxury fitness club. A full-size lap pool, with an accompanying jacuzzi, as well as a steam room and a sauna, are also made available for guests to enhance their wellness experience. The locker room features a shower with six jets and a rainfall showerhead. For travelers looking to escape to a centrally located oasis in midtown with a focus on wellness, this is an excellent option that is sure to delight. Rates are pricey, but because the hotel falls under the Hyatt umbrella, brand loyalty members can earn and redeem points to offset costs.
