Don't be deterred by the corporate location: The Hilton Boston Downtown/Faneuil Hall makes an ideal home base for business and leisure travelers. This massive hotel sits just blocks from Boston Harbor, the New England Aquarium, Faneuil Hall and some of downtown Boston's most popular restaurants and shops. The hotel itself isn't too shabby either, boasting spacious rooms equipped with 42-inch flat-screen TVs, marble baths and comfortable work areas. Plus, here you'll have access to a fitness room and tasty New England fare at Fin Point. While recent guests love the Hilton's ideal location, they do offer mixed feedback on the staff. Some said everyone they encountered was friendly and happy to assist, while other noted a few hotel employees seemed uninterested in helping or a bit disorganized. On the upside, if you frequent Hilton properties and you participate in the company's Honors rewards program, you may earn or accrue benefits, such as free nights' stays, by choosing to bed down here.
