You can explore state park to the north and the La Jolla beaches to the south, or you can enjoy the woodsy, rustic ambiance of coastal California from the comfort of the hotel. The guest rooms feature hardwood furnishings, and some overlook the beautiful Torrey Pines Golf Course. Cozy fireplaces are sprinkled around some guest rooms and hotel common areas. The standard guest rooms at The Lodge at Torrey Pines are the signature rooms, which continue the craftsman theme of the building's exterior with Stickley-style wooden furniture, Tiffany-style lamps and leather upholstery. Balconies and patios overlook the landscaped central courtyard (upgrade for a golf course and ocean view). Bathrooms are granite and marble, with hallway sinks and large tubs. The other on-site dining option is The Grill at Torrey Pines, which offers a more casual dining experience, catering to those looking for a quick bite or sip. The hotel has a heated outdoor pool overlooking the picturesque golf course. The hot tub sits above the pool under the gazebo and also provides great course views. Lap pool, Whirlpool/hot tub, Poolside service, Deck chairs or cabanas, and Pool bar are available. However, Wading pool, Lazy river, Family pool, Infinity pool, Adults-only pool, Lifeguard on duty, and Waterslide are not provided.
Spa
The spa at The Lodge at Torrey Pines offers sports-therapy massages and hydrotherapy baths in addition to a full menu of body work, facials, wraps, scrubs and salon services. Inspired by the elements of the La Jolla coastline, the spa uses botanical- and marine-based extracts for treatments. Bridal services available. Clients may purchase the spa's signature line of products to take home. Fitness
The fitness center at The Lodge at Torrey Pines has cardio and strength-training equipment. Amenities include headphones, towels, water and fresh fruit for guests. The Lodge also offers two daily guided walking tours of the adjacent Torrey Pines State Reserve. Tennis at the neighboring Hilton resort can be arranged through the concierge. The property’s more than 13,000 square feet of event space can hold 18 to 469 people. The space includes divisible ballrooms, a terrace and cottage, among others. Catering and audiovisual support are located on-site, and a business center is stocked with computers and office equipment. A museum of vintage cars called the Evans Garage, as well as a historic sternwheeler riverboat, can also be reserved for group events. Pets
The Lodge allows one dog per guest room, as long as its housebroken and weighs 50 pounds or less. There is also an option to bring two small dogs as long as they have a combined weight of 75 pounds or less. There is a non-refundable room $150 cleaning fee for guests with dogs. Try to avoid leaving pets unattended in guest rooms in consideration of other guests. Dogs should be kept on leash. Pets allowed (with fee). Dog walking and pet-sitting services are not available.
