Jackson Hole, stay here: This grand dame in downtown Jackson has welcomed visitors since 1941, and it still looks much like it did back when it first opened its doors. Rooms are decorated with local paintings, carvings and needlepoint pillows, while the furniture is reminiscent of a rustic mountain lodge. Guests love The Wort's traditional feel, but they also appreciate the more recent additions to the property, including free Wi-Fi service and a fitness center with Jacuzzi tubs. Though you won't be sleeping at the foot of the slopes, you'll have no trouble reaching the mountains thanks to The Wort's complimentary ski shuttle. The rooms at The Wort Hotel embrace the area’s cowboy-chic style with deep colors and custom wood furniture. The Wort Hotel is home to The Silver Dollar Bar & Grill. The bar is covered in uncirculated Morgan silver dollars (hence the name) and has live music most Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. The food is traditional pub fare with a local twist, like the elk ravioli and bison and smoked garlic chili. The Silver Dollar Grill serves up all types of steak, including bison and beef.
